For the Operational Controlling department in the SGRE Service business unit we are looking for an experienced Commercial Project Manager to strengthen our ability to execute on our roadmap of global projects to be rolled out to our Service regions.

About the position:

Operational Controlling has the global governance ownership of all processes related to financial project management of our 3500+ service projects. With the implementation of a new SAP system we have a roadmap of global harmonization initiatives to be defined and implemented in cooperation with the Service regions. Examples of topics include calculation of hourly labor rates, allocation of fixed costs to projects, currency hedging, cross border transactions, financial guarantees, etc.

Operational Controlling has a team of 19 dedicated employees in Denmark and Hungary with different areas of responsibility. As a CPM in this function you will be referring to the Head of Operational Controlling within the CFO organization and you will be collaborating with many different stakeholders from the regional CFO organization.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Identification of new harmonization initiatives together with subject matter experts from Service regions
  • Project management/implementation responsibility for new and already existing initiatives, which involves the following steps
    • Documentation of topic in a written instruction to be published
    • Set up and carry out training of key stakeholders in the business, including ongoing support
    • Follow up on implementation status in the Service regions
  • Maintenance of existing financial guidelines and instructions
  • Support in connection with new IT tool development
  • Reporting of certain KPIs related to global service projects (Power BI)
  • Support to our Operational Analytics team regarding costs input
  • Support in facilitating workshops with service regions

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You hold a Master’s degree, preferably in the Economics/Finance area
  • Hands-on experience with commercial project management, preferably in the wind industry
  • You are results-oriented, collaborative and possess strong project management skills
  • You are a super user in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and preferably you have experience with SAP or at least a good understanding of it
  • Experience with Power BI is an advantage, but not a must
  • You possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing, have good interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people from different cultures and organizational levels
